【禁闻】王克勤停职 报社揭黑被整肃

【新唐人2011年7月21日讯】近日，以揭露黑幕闻名的《中国经济时报》�调查报导部
�被解散，这个部门的负责人、被誉为中国�打黑记者第一人�的王克勤被停职。王克
勤在微博上表示，"当一个政权开始禁言的时候，若不加以阻止，它的下一步就要灭
口！"

�香港大学�中国传媒研究计划主任钱刚最早在微博上透露，王克勤及报社调查部遭整
肃的消息。他说，发自《中国经济时报》一位朋友的短信说，一位擅长搞政治斗争的领
导已经到达报社，开始对他们整肃。

王克勤周一在微博上引用在德国�达豪集中营�入口处，篆刻的一段17世纪诗人的警世
名言，以表达当天"特殊的心情"："当一个政权开始烧书的时候，若不加以阻止，它的
下一步就要烧人！当一个政权开始禁言的时候，若不加以阻止，它的下一步就要灭
口！"

《德国之声》报导说，王克勤向记者证实，报社�调查部�被解散是事实。但是自己还
不清楚未来的去向。王克勤表示，报社党委书记和社委会找他谈话，说他是老党员还是
党委委员，"必须要服从组织决定，听党的话。"

北京宪政学者陈永苗透露说，报社以前的社长兼主编包月阳一直支持王克勤做调查揭黑
报导。但是在签发了王克勤的报导"山西疫苗乱象调查"之后，去年五月包月阳被调离。
而其他报社领导一直想把王克勤排挤出局，因为担心调查报导会给报社带来风险。

陈永苗（北京宪政学者）：�我觉得他实际上做了非常多的维权事件，比如王克勤被评
为2004年十大维权人物。我觉得他的更多意义并不在于推动政治体制改革，而是实现维
权运动的巨大发展。�

专栏作家杨勤恒表示，王克勤的深度调查做的非常好。因为有王克勤他才知道了《中国
经济时报》。

杨勤恒（专栏作家）：�很多大的新闻都是他挖掘出来的。他可以称为中国深度调查记
者的第一人。自然也就成为一些人的眼中钉了。�

中国资深媒体人昝爱宗分析，报社从政治风险和经济效益的角度考虑，做维权和揭黑报
导都不划算，不如做�吹捧性报导�。

昝爱宗（中国资深媒体人）：�因为调查性报导一方面揭露社会的贪腐的现象，一些地
方政府会告状。而且成本非常高。你比如一个突发事件的调查性报导，要派两三个记者
过去。一趟过去就得花两三万块钱。你要是同样的篇幅去宣传某个企业、宣传某个地方
政府，地方政府还主动给广告宣传费。�

王克勤和《中国经济时报》�调查报导部�，以深度揭露社会事件背后的黑幕著称。王
克勤曾发表�股票市场黑箱作业�、�计程车行业垄断黑幕�、�爱滋病真相�，�钱
运会被碾死事件�，�山西疫苗导致儿童残疾死亡�等轰动性的调查报告，惹怒了官员
和地方势力。

王克勤还曾入选由中共媒体组织选出的�中国传媒杰出人物�和�八大风云记者�名
单，并当选为"2010年时尚先生"。他被认为，对治理中国经济秩序发挥过重大和积极作
用。

Muckraking Newspaper Purged

Recently, the muckraking China Economic Times'"department of investigation"
was dissolved.Wang Keqin, head of the department and"Number One muckraking
reporter of China" was suspended.On his micro-blog, Wang said, "When a
regime begins to gag,if it is not stopped, its next step will be to silence
people!"

Qian Gang, director of media researchat University of Hong Kong, was the
first tobreak the news of Wang being purgedon his micro-blog.He said that
according toa friend at China Economic Times,a Chinese Communist Party
(CCP) cadrewell-experienced in political struggles,had arrived at the
newspaper headquartersand started the purge.

On his micro-blog, Wang expressed his feelingswith the famous wordsat the
entrance of Dachau Concentration Camp:

"When a regime begins to burn books,if it is not stopped, its next step
will be to burn people!When the regime begins to gag, if it is not
stopped,its next step will be to silence people! "

Deutsche Welle reported thatWang confirmed to reporters thatthe
investigation department was dissolved,but he was not certain about his own
future.The CCP secretary within the newspaper's headquarterstold him that
being a veteran CCP member,he must "obey the organization and listen to the
party."

Beijing constitutional scholarChen Yongmiao said thatthe director and
former editor of the newspaperBao Yueyang had always supported
Wang.However, after the "Shanxi Vaccine Chaos" investigation,Bao was
transferred andother top managers of the newspaperwanted to oust Wang,as
they fear the risks of his investigative reports.

Chen Yongmiao: I think thathe actually has done a lot of rights protection
activities.For example, Wang was namedone of the top ten rights activists
in 2004.But more significantly is thatrather than promoting political
reforms,he has achieved a tremendous developmentof the human rights
movement. "

Columnist Yang Qinheng said thatWang is good at in-depth
investigations.Thanks to Wang, he learned the existence of"China Economic
Times."

Yang Qinheng: He dug out much significant news.He can be called China's top
investigative reporter.Naturally, he has become a thorn for some people."

A senior media analyst Zan Aizong thinks that

in terms of political risks and economic benefitsof a newspaper
agency,conducting rights activities and muckrakingare not as worthwhile as
praising the authorities.

Zan Aizong: Because investigative reportingexposes the social
corruption,some local governments will complain.And the cost is very high.

For an incident investigative report,you have to dispatch two or three
reporters.It costs RMB 20,000 - 30,000.

If you use the same space to publicize a businessor to promote a local
government,the government will pay for the articles.

Wang and his "department of investigation"are well-known for in-depth
exposure of shady social events.Wang had written "A Stock Market Black
Box","Monopoly Taxi Industry", "The Truth about AIDS","Qian Yunhui Crushed
to Death ",and "Shanxi Vaccine Case."Such sensational reports angeredmany
officials and local forces.

Wang was nominatedby the Chinese media organizationsas "Chinese media
elite" and"Eight powerful reporters".He was also elected as "Man of the
year"by Esquire in 2010.He is also considered playinga significant and
positive rolein China's economic management.
